Default Div footer overlap easy fix?

Hello I am new to htmling and I have build my main page have figured out i think how to insert a div. I inserted the px of where the L and T should be for the div "image" and it lines up perfect but it over laps my footer... It seems if there is anything in the div way it will override the zen-cart sideboxes footer header etc. I'm probably not doing something right just need to know what..The reason I have inserted T and L is because the div would end up on the side my website is set at 920px, so it wouldn't even be on the page but anything that is not in div would be where its suppost to be. Thanks

Not sure what you mean by the 'L'and 'T'. I don't see anything overlapping the footer.

By the way - your site is looking a lot better. Good job on the re-do.

I have even a better main page coming up, I just had that up because I was having the over lapping check it out again and you will see for now Ill upload that... its uploaded now when i insert the L and T thats the position of the div on the page like the x and y where the div should be, but no matter what it still overlaps my zen-cart stuff, such as the footer when i get it layed out correctly take a look here

Let me walk through what I am doing...
-I open dreamweaver select html file blank
    -I insert my flash
-then I make div tags and insert the little menu
-another div and put in featured product
-then another to put in the text
---for all of them i then insert the L and T believe it the L-length on the page so i set them to 500px T.......400L so they are not overlaping the sideboxes like they would now when i enter all this it still is overlapping my footer... It overlaps anything that is in its way, I must not be setting something correctly.
