adding "contact us" link to categories menu bar

Hi

please can anyone advise on how to add a "contact us" link at the end of the categories links e.g.
category 1, category 2, ..... "contact us"

I have tried making a "contact us" category but there is no hyperlink facility without adding a product

There are many ways, however the safest method I can think of at the moment may be to overwrite the template file for the categories sidebox in your template. The file that needs to be overridden is /includes/templates/<your template>/sideboxes/tpl_categories.php.

Notice that there is some logic that needs to be carried over from the default template. So it is best if you first copy the file from the */template_default/* folder.

You probably want to add your <a> tag around line 60. This will show the new link right after the list of categories. Make sure it is outside of the loops.
