I run a dropship business. I would like to offer free shipping to my customer. But here's the problem. I can't because....
I haven't set any weight to all products. That means 0 lbs. Because my dropshipper doesn't provide me the infos.
I use UPS shipping calculator. So I set this setting in order to get the closest shipping cost as my supplier charges.
Package Tare Small to Medium - added percentage:weight 0:7
So far the I haven't lost profit from this shipping cost setting and also the cost just as equal as my supplier request.
But the problem with this setting is when my customer makes an order for 2 items or more, the shipping cost is still the same. I'm not sure how UPS calculates the shipping cost. Maybe by its prices.
So in this case, how to set the shipping cost base on each item with no weight using UPS shipping calculator? For example UPS charge $20 shipping for my $50 product,
e.g,
Item 1 + Item 2 - Price $50x2 - Ship cost $20x2.
Total = $140
I don't want it to be like,
Item 1 + Item 2 - Price $50x2 - Ship cost $20x1 (no change).
Total = $120
If anyone know what is the best solution for this problem, please help me. Package Tare setting perhaps? Thank you.
