Product Types Help

I did not install the samples when I installed Zencart. I do not want to reinstall and am using the latest version, and have modified core files.

Without those product types other than Product it is extremely difficult to add more. Please tell me how to install the product types from the Zencart full fileset (mainly the files required, I can probably duplicate the SQL stuff. I hope.)

With or without the sample data, you still should have had the default Product Types load ...

Can you peek in your phpMyAdmin at the database and look at the table: product_types

What do you have in there? There are 5 Product Types, by default ...

Sorry to hijack, but I stupidly edited the product types data from the GUI including the handler page info. Sigh. Can someone please tell me what this default information is supposed to be...? I can't add new products without it... lucky this is only a test install!

I took a guess that the page handler was "product" and it appears to have worked.
