Authorize.net and offline processing

I'm running a site where we take a lot of 'pre-orders' for good that will not be available for a while, sometimes as far out as 6 months, and some of it is available now.

Is there a way to to edit the Authorise.net module to also e-mail the CC info the same way the offline processing does?

That way I can run the CC for what ships now, and have the CC info for when their pre-ordered stuff come in and I can manually process it.

It looks like it should be possible, but I'm not that good at php to try and tackle merging the two modules without some guidance.

Sort answer? No. You should speak to your processor for the best procedure for handling those types of orders without compromising your PCI compliance.

Doesn't the cc offline module have PCI compliance by only storing part of the CC info with the order and the balance in the e-mail?, and then running an authorization though the gateway also meet PCI compliance?
