    Default A problem I've noticed with 1.3.9h

Regardless of working in FireFox (latest version) or IE 8 ... I've noticed this problem with each of the v1.3.9h carts I've installed, which have installed just fine with no errors, etc.

You add a new product, filling in all the necessary details - that's fine.
Now you realize you need to go back and edit the product description (for example) ... but when you go back - all the product information is gone: title, description, model, image, etc. I have to re-enter all that information again.

Why would this be happening, and how do I fix this?

I really couldn't say what's causing this problem, but it's definitely not ZC's fault. I've got several test sites using 1.3.9h, and have set up several 1.3.9h installs for my customers, and have not had that problem with any of them.

Are you getting anything in your error logs in your cache folder?

It's so weird that this started only with the h version.

No, no errors in any logs.

While I can do ZC installs in my sleep by now, I still follow the instructions to a T just so I don't forget anything.

Could it be a computer specific problem? And if so ... what would I need to fix?

So are all these that you're having problems with installed on your computer, or are they "live" shops on a server?

Please tell us you're NOT hosting with GoDaddy!!!

    Either one................what php version?

    No, these are live stores.
These have been on 3 different servers (dedicated Serverbeach server), on my Hostgator reseller server, and the one I'm working on today is at 1and1.com but will be moving to my server sometime in the near future.

I would NEVER host with GoDaddy!

Checking with 1and1.com ... seems they use PHP4 and above.

My Hostgator reseller server has PHP5 ... the latest ZC install is on a site where I see in the cPanel that the php is 5.2.15 (so I assume it's the same for my whole server).

I know the Serverbeach server I used to admin was PHP5 - they always had the latest installed. But previous ZC installed worked just fine there ... just not 9h.

And the problem will have if:
Using PHP version lower than 5.2.3 ...

That means php 4.x will have the problem and anything less than php 5.2.3 will have the problem ...

Ok, I will give it a whirl and make the changes in the "Known Bugs" thread as suggestion and see what happens in this one cart I'm currently working on.

Ok, make the changes, but the product title still disappears when I go back to edit the product ... but all the other fields are now fine.

Ok, I think I got - seemed the collect_info.php file didn't upload properly.

    All seems fine thus far.

Thanks so much to the both of you for helping out.
