Admin Notes Advanced

This sounds like a great mod but I can't find it anywhere. At the beginning of this thread you said it was in the .zip file, which I don't see. I checked the downloads section for 'admin notes' and only see the original admin notes mod (which I already have)

If you could be so kind as to add a link for this mod I'd appreciate it.

I removed the first release because it had a nasty bug. The later version is attached to the post above yours :-)

I never got to uploading it to the downloads section because I wanted to make some modifications before that. But I doubt if I get to those modifications soon, so I think will upload it as it is.

By the way: v0.913 works quite well, I use it all the time myself. The modifications I would like to make are mainly cosmetic.

Just uploaded v0.914 to: Free Software Addons :: Admin Tools

So I assume it will become available for dowload soon.

One minor (but annoying!) issue has been fixed in 0.914:

version 0.914

- added quick fix to admin/notes.php:
// fix for active notes notifier link issue: note not showing when nID is set but page is not (and the note is not on page 1).

I just downloaded the mod and upon reading the install info this line has me concerned:

Upgrade warning: this will remove all existing notes data!

I currently have the regular 'Admin Notes' mod installed.

Will THIS mod affect, change, or disable THAT mod?

The regular Admin notes addon uses another database table name, so this sql won't affect it. And I also don't expect it to be affected in any other way.

But of course you will make a full backup just before installing this add on, so you will be able to easily restore everything if needed

Thank you very much, paulm. I appreciate your patience with such a newbie :) Yes, I will be sure to backup everything BEFORE installing the mod.

I'm planning to install the mod this week and will come back here to post my triumphs!
