Bravo on the corrections. You will still need to code correct your other pages but at least now, you know the main files to work with and what each one applies to.
As to the coding logic I mentioned earlier for fixing the display problem with IE (and other Browsers) you need to redo your Header images. Your Logo and grass must be part of the same Header image and start in the top left-hand corner. It must be part of the Header code only, so that it flows properly. This will also help to correct the display problem for other pages as well.
Designs using images in the way you want require some thought into using proper display but it must be done, to prevent display problems throughout the site.
done! still need a little tweeking here and there to get my margins straight, but now i'm good in IE7 (sofar as i can tell from IE NetRenderer), but IE 6 and below are still (usable) train wrecks. do people still use IE 6 and 5? how old are those?
i had my logo/grass in different parts originally thinking that it would help with image sizes, but if it causes the site to malfucntion than what good is that? thanks for the help, rob. onward!
and after looking at how IE6 doesn't like my hovers and only displays the hover image, i think i'm gonna switch the hover and regular images. all in all a good project.
Oh my... have you looked at your site in FF? Best to set a 'no-repeat' for your logo image.
doh! done, dont have my screen set that big...
so, in the spirit of keeping image size down, should i make the header wider or make a small block of the grass to repeat right?
I would make a small block of grass and have that repeat.
