Featured and whats new sidebox

Quick question - have looked but can't find.

If I want to show 10 products at the same time in the featured and whats ne sideboxes, how do I do set it up. Can't find anything in the admin.

Do not want them scrolling or changing image, just 10 static products down the side in a sidebox.

in your shop admin - go to configuration -> maximum values -> and look for "sideboxes"...
