Default Blank Checkout Payment Page and Google Analytics

I feel stoopid, but I just can't fix this blank page issue even though I've followed the advice from multiple threads here.

    Problem
Checkout Payment page is completely blank:
    https://www.theaizzi.com/index.php?m...eckout_payment
Note that this link probably won't work since it's tied to a session I believe.

    Steps Taken To Remedy
    1) Re-uploaded multiple times with two different FTP apps (and manually checked various file sizes on the server for 0kb) to ensure nothing was dropped.

    2) Using the enable_error_logging.php tool and keep getting the same somewhat telling result:
11-Sep-2008 21:30:31 PHP Warning: require(includes/templates/theaizzi/checkout_shipping//google_analytics.php) [<a href='function.require'>function.require</a>]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/theaizzi/www/www/includes/templates/theaizzi/common/tpl_main_page.php on line 190
    11-Sep-2008 21:30:31 PHP Fatal error: require() [<a href='function.require'>function.require</a>]: Failed opening required 'includes/templates/theaizzi/checkout_shipping//google_analytics.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/php5/lib/php') in /home/theaizzi/www/www/includes/templates/theaizzi/common/tpl_main_page.php on line 190
    3) Double-checked all of the files needed for Google Analytics are in the right places and the special <body> and </body> code was carefully included in the tpl_main_page.php file. Note above in the error reporting that line 190 is mentioned. That's the second line of code Analytics needs just above the ending </body> tag. It's all correct as far as I can tell. Also pasted the googleanalytics-INSTALL.sql text into the Install SQL Patches page and successfully ran it.

    4) Am using the latest (not so ;) Simple Google Analytics v1.2.2 with my newly upgraded 1.3.8a version of Zen Cart. Funny thing is I have successfully upgraded 2 other installs of Zen Cart from 1.3.7 to 1.3.8a in subfolders to the root without problems at all. The root install however is not cooperating.

    Any ideas...? ...Please?

If you remove the Google analytics does everything work again?

Yes, I just went ahead and uninstalled it with success. The page is no longer blank, though there was a caveat:

The page remained blank and the error reporter mentioned an old "Better Together" module file as a fatal error. This module should not have been there and I removed all instances of it with success. The checkout process is entirely fine now.

So I suppose I'm left with trying to install Simple Google Analytics again in hopes that Better Together was actually the problem (the 2 working subfolder installs I mentioned definitely do not have any odd modules hanging about) or try "Google Analytics by Andrew" instead.

So the result of my meanderings through the convoluted maze that has been Google Analytics modules is that intermittent (or, um... one time) PHP warnings and fatal errors seem to be the norm.

I tried to reinstall Simple Google Analytics to see if it would work after removing Better Together bits. Unfortunately, the same error was reported although the checkout screen was fine and no longer blank.

I again uninstalled Simple GA in favor of GA by Andrew. This second module has a set of fewer files that largely go in different directories as well as a suggestion to place the required code in the tpl_footer.php file instead of tpl_main_page.php.

Yet, once installed and I started browsing the shop, the same fatal error showed up referencing the tpl_footer.php file on the line where the GA code was placed similar to the error that resulted when using Simple GA.

However, no pages turned up blank and I've since been browsing around the site and checkout process with no more errors being reported.

    Very frustrating. (a.k.a WTF!?)
