any one help about following feature

i needs a page in the admin section where he can specify the special news.

Can you make such a feature, or do you know of any existing feature like this?

There is a feature that displays the "news" in a sidebox, but those news are outdated. For example today it showed products from the 22th of may. So I think it simply displays random products.

Is it possible for you to make a better solution to this?
