I followed the tutorial to remove the congratulations... message and something really strange happened

I don't know exactly what happened there but can it be fixed? It looked fine until I tried to change that heading and yes I did create a folder in the directory called custom in the English folder unless I missed something?

If you are talking about the red warning at the top of the screen, you need to reset the permissions (CMOD) on that file. There is a tutorial on security in the FAQ section. Also, when you unpacked the original zen package to begin to install it on your server, it came with instructions on how to change the permissions, and what you need to do to secure your site.

I would go to the FAQ section and read the one about securing your zencart. You want to keep everything secure so you don't get hacked.
