Adding a form to search results page,

I'd like to show a stripped down version of the advanced search form on the search results page. So when you search for say "dresses" you get the search results but with the Search term and price min and max displayed.

I thought it would just be a case of copying the form from tpl_advanced_search_default.php and addding it to the top of tpl_advanced_search_result_default.php

It worksfine, however I'd like the search term to say in the box (which it does on the advanced search).

Has anyone any suggestions for a work around? Many thanks, John

I've managed to get this working at www.iamhappie.com - use the top right search box, however I can't get the search term to appear in the word/phrase box when it list the results. Has anyone done this?
