red flag Website Optimizing - I need Help

Well I call upon your genius once again for help. My page is loading to slow and when I went to www.websiteoptimization.com it said these warning messages:

    * TOTAL_OBJECTS - Warning! The total number of objects on this page is 14 - consider reducing this to a more reasonable number. Combine, refine, and optimize your external objects. Replace graphic rollovers with CSS rollovers to speed display and minimize HTTP requests.
    * TOTAL_IMAGES - Caution. You have a moderate amount of images on this page (10 ). Consider using fewer images on the site or try reusing the same image in multiple pages to take advantage of caching.
    * TOTAL_SIZE - Warning! The total size of this page is 360869 bytes, which will load in 74.72 seconds on a 56Kbps modem. Consider reducing total page size to less than 30K to achieve sub eight second response times on 56K connections. Pages over 100K exceed most attention thresholds at 56Kbps, even with feedback. Consider contacting us about our optimization services.
    * IMAGES_SIZE - Warning! The total size of your images is 335894 bytes, which is over 30K. Consider optimizing your images for size, combining them, and replacing graphic rollovers with CSS.
    * SCRIPT_SIZE - Caution. The total size of your external scripts is 5998 bytes, which is above 4080 bytes and less than 8K. Consider optimizing your scripts and eliminating features to reduce this to a more reasonable size.
    * CSS_SIZE - Warning! The total size of your external CSS is 15204 bytes, which is over 8K. Consider optimizing your CSS for size by eliminating whitespace, using shorthand notation, and combining multiple CSS files where appropriate.

I have also installed my SSL on my main page, I didn't know until it was too late that I was to install it in the customer details area. I think that might be a clue to the slowness.

Here is my site : www.medicinetreefoods.com
Let me know what I can do to make my site faster or better. Thanks a million.

    Have you seen this thread?

    http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showth...temple+hosting

My previous host was painfully slow too - even googlebot was protesting - and issuing WARNINGS!.

I've changed hosts and couldn't be HAPPIER!!!

    Hello,

    Welcome to Zen Cart.

I am sure you will get some help for your problem. A couple of things though.

First - do not post the same problem in multiple places.

Second DO NOT send that same problem via PM to foks unless you are invited to PM.

    Thanks for your cooperation.
Please do not PM for support issues: a private solution doesn't benefit the community.

Be careful with unsolicited advice via email or PM - Make sure the person you are talking to is a reliable source.
