    Default Paypal Pro? Express?

Looking at Paypal Pro, the instructions instruct you that you must have Paypal Express installed (makes sense, as Pro itself doesn't have the API info in its settings.)

However, the Express module seems to add "pay with paypal!" buttons in the shopping cart and checkout pages that seem (I could be wrong, I didn't proceed to actually make payments yet) like they offer customers a way to pay without bothering to sign up for your site. This is not something that my site can allow (selling downloads, the customer needs an account to download files, and in general, it seems safer to me to have customer's information directly on file in the store.

Is there a way to have Paypal Pro without offering the express no-login option? Or am I misinterpreting the express checkout buttons?

    Short answer? Nope.

In a typical configuration, any Express Checkout transaction does also create an account on your store. It includes their account password in the welcome email sent to them after they return from the PayPal side. They can use that account and password (or reset it if they so desire) to download their purchased files.

Default Re: Paypal Pro? Express? really need some help please

PayPal set up is really confusing to me.

I have read zen Faq's and went to PAyPAl and still stuck.

    First of all

I do Have a PayPal Buss. account
I have created the PDT token
    Instant Payment Notification (IPN) On
    Instant Payment Notification (IPN) Configured!
Return URL: as per zencart suggestion has been placed.
    Payment Data Transfer: On
Identity Token: yes configured copied and pasted in zen cart

In ZenCart, I now see 2 x PayPal small icons in the check out?
One says > Save time. Check out securely. Pay without sharing your financial information.
and the other > Checkout with PayPal. The safer, easier way to pay.

    Why am I getting two?

All I want is for customers to pay either credit card or paypal. I love to have "PayPal Website Payments Pro" but I am in Australia so I can't use it accoding to zen Faq's (that tells you I have read it)

    Please someone ?

    Thank you

Currently I have in zencart installed
PayPal IPN - Website Payments Standard and PayPal Express Checkout + Bank Transfer Payment mod. nothing else.

PS : I have just noticed I should have been in the payPal express post but I was really responding the above comments with my problem.

    Why am I getting two?
You're seeing two because you have two PayPal modules enabled.
You don't need to have "both" the Express and Standard installed. Only one is needed. Having both is going to give you two options, which of course will be confusing to customers.
