    Default Changing the vertical order of my header elements

    Can someone please help me, sorry if this is n00bish.

    My store is as the following address: http://www.shainsware.com/site/

    I'd simply like to change the order of things, I want the Logo row to be at the very top, then my custom navbar underneath the logo row, then the "Log in" and "shop" and cart links to appear underneath the navbar.

    Does anyone know an easy trick to change that stuff around?

    Sure see a lot of tables there.
    Version?
    Upgrade?

    Normally you would use the Developers Tool Kit under Tools in the admin to find the page containing the divs that make it up. You will need to find the tables, trs, or tds that work and swap their order on the page.
    A little help with colors.

    I'm running 1.3.7. Can you elaborate on what you meant by "lots of tables there" where? which tables?

    I see what you were saying, my design has lots of tables. Yes I'd really love to eliminate some. Any suggestions?

    Any idea how to make the "Featured Products" section header stretch across the entire main content area? I can't seem to keep it from having side margins.

    Any other suggestions for design improvements to simplify and clean up all the table lines?

    thanks

    Give things a rest until the holidays are over (and, if you're in LA, you know that's mid January).
    Take the time to upgrade to 1.3.8a using the override system. That will eliminate a lot of the tables and better prepare you for the future.
    For now...
    Tables are set up:

    <table>
    <tr>
    <td>Column information</td>
    <td>2nd Cloumn Information</td>
    </tr>
    </table>
    Tables and things inside tables are easily moved as long as you follow the structure. If I wanted to change the column information items, I'd just make sure that I grabbed the info AND the surrounding code.

    the new products width is controlled along with the centerColumn call in the stylesheet.

    around line 407, you'll want to remove the padding.

    Thanks, I found it before I saw your reply, should have looked harder.

    I made a few changes and I think it's looking a lot cleaner now.

    Thanks again.
