Redirect after purchase?

How can I redirect to a page after purchase? I already have download links set up, and aweber forms set up for specific products, so I'd like each product to be sent to a custom confirmation page after payment.

I can't seem to find anywhere to set this up?

You'll need some custom coding to accomplish that.

hummm. custom coding? Would it be hard? Seems like a no brainer. I can do it with paypal sending people to a redirect link after purchase.

Can I do it with the download product option?

When you set up a downloadable product, it must send to a redirect to get the download product after payment? Is that how it works?

One major problem - If the customer doesn't return to your Zen Cart site - the purchase is never completed.

I'm not following your ligic. Help me please. If the sale is completed, where do they go to download the product now? From what I've read so far, you set up an ftp file and then the sale is redirected to that file after payment?

No, they are not redirected directly to the file. The customer returns to the Zen Cart Checkout Success page that has a link to their downloads. If they do not download them immediately they can visit their account area to download.

Ah! thanks. that should work then, the success page will only have the download that pertains to them right. .. so, I can put the download file and make it just a link to my already set up download site....?

I've read the documentation on creating a download file, but it isn't easy to follow. I'll try to figure it out tomorrow.

Seems like I can make a pdf file, which has the link to the download area in it. ...?
