Quick question...I want to sell products for other people . Is there a way to have a percentage of the money come to me and the rest go to my client and how?

Not automatically.. you receive all money via
i..e paypal. and then recompense to others manually.

Zen Cart is designed to sell your items and not as a "mall" script where others can post items for sale.
You might search for an Auction or a Mall script
