hi im a total noob but wish to someday get good at this stuff..anyways heres my question...

is there a way to have for example 3 feature products show on the main page? where you would normally have the text "Congratulations! You have successfully installed your Zen Cart™ E-Commerce Solution" ect ect
oh and where can i alter the stated text above?
