Shipping weight displaying in checkout

In the admin portion of zen cart I have told it to not display the weight and items in the checkout portion of the shopping cart by going into configuration and clicking on shipping/packaging BUT it still shows up when checking out. Is there a step I'm missing? Thanks in advance for any help

What shipping module?

If USPS, did you set:

USPS Options
Select from the following the USPS options.

Display weight
Display transit time

I am using the per unit shipping module.

And you have also turned off the settings for Configuration ... Layout Settings ...

Shopping Cart - Show Totals
Show Totals Above Shopping Cart?
0= off
1= on: Items Weight Amount
2= on: Items Weight Amount, but no weight when 0
3= on: Items Amount
