stock count

is there any way i can stop the shop from counting stock i have been through the FAQ and cant seem to find anything a link would be nice

Might peek at the settings in the Configuration ... Stock ... and see if you have your Zen Cart configured to count the stock ...

wow cant beieve i missed that, thanks, i need the zen book, month end coming, so can i just set every product to say 5 units in stock oir is there a way that it doesn't show stock level?

You can turn off the stock level on the various pages through admin.

weather i se it to 1,2,3 or false it does not turn my stock off, anyone know?

how do i get it display the # in stock IF the customer adds more than what's available into the cart? for example, i have 2 shirts left in stock, but the customer tries to add 5. on the shopping cart page, i want it to show "only 2 left in stock" or something that.


under config --> stock.. it's already set to TRUE. is there some place else i need to adjust this?
