Price By Attribute is not Functioning corectly

Iam trying to use the Attributes for Shipping and other options for my products For example We offer shipping to the US and Canada. Now the problem is If I select The Us Shipping in the attribute the price in the shopping cart is calculated OK. If I select the ship to Canada Option and you add to cart it will say US shipping and the price is calculated as if it was shipped to the US.
The same thing applies to the other attributes The First option that you select will be the only thing listed in the shopping cart.

Is it possible to make the attribute depend on the previous selection??????

You may wish to change your approach ...

You are allowing the customer to decide the price by using attributes ...

You could use the Per Unit perweightunit shipping module instead and set the products_weight to 1 ...

Clone the Per Unit perweightunit shipping module and set up a Zone for the US and a Zone for Canada ...

On one copy set up that the unit rate is 10.00 ... for the US ...

On the other copy setup that the unit rate is 20.00 ... for Canada ...

Now when the person checks out with a Canada shipping it will use the one with the Zone for Canada and the rate of 20.00 per unit ... then the other will be Zoned for the US with the rate of 10.00 per unit ...

NOTE: to use this you need to set the Maximum Weight much higher as the products_weight is now used in a different manner ...

That is understandable.
BUT If you add the attribute for example the type on my site. Each type has a different price which means each attribute has a different price. So If you select the the second finish which has a different price and added it to the zen cart shopping cart it will calculated the cost based on the first option. that applies to the third option and so for. Please test that on the live site.

Change the calculation ...

Put the US price in as the products_weight ...

Set the first Per Unit rate to 1 and the second Per Unit rate module to 2 ...

All your products appear to be a 2 to 1 ratio from US and Canada ...

Can you disregard the shipping option for a minute.

I installed Zen cart attribute on a different site, And if you have 3 different attributes with 3 different prices, When you add an attribute that attribute price will be added to the item price and the name of the attribute will show in the Shopping cart. On this site if you add the second, third or any attribute The price in the shopping cart will be display the first option. Meaning something is wrong in the Attribute mod somewhere. I was wondering if anyone knows where or have an idea where I should look for the problem.

Please Disregard the Shipping option and try to add the product with choosing the different Type to see what iam talking about and how no mater what the type is it will only calculate the price based on the first option on the list.

Could you switch to the Classic Template to see if things work on this product?

Have you any add-ons that you have added?

It does work on classic template I tried that yesterday and it worked. What other mod can affect this function????

I have another question regarding your suggestion of cloning the perunitweight module for shipping... I searched the forums and found this post on how to do it. "http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=103948&highlight=Unit+perweightunit" Now I followed through this post and changed the perweightunit to perweightunitzone1 and zone 2 Everywhere that I found it in both locations. BUT When I go into the admin panel to install these mods I get this message

Sounds like you missed a replace ...

perunitweight = perweightunitzone1
PERWEIGHTUNIT = PERWEIGHTUNITZONE1

perunitweight = perweightunitzone2
PERWEIGHTUNIT = PERWEIGHTUNITZONE2

Be sure to do both the code and lanaguage files ...
