Is it possible to combine zen cart with existing shop database

Hi there,

I have a client very interested in having a shopping cart in their website.... the problem is they also are having an epos system installed in their shop, where stock is held in an SQL database....

How easy/difficult is it to integrate the SQL for the shop with a new online shop? The clients wants their to be only one product database, with only one product list.

The DB structure will have to be identical for this to work -

Zen Cart's DB structure would be the one to align with to reduce the amount of code changes -

You might have a look at a POS that is designed with the Zen Cart DB in mind
