How do I get Page_3 to work?

Hi, I turned Page 3 into a Links page. I went into the define pages editor and changed the text. I also changed the text in the file. I've renamed it to "links" in all the appropriate ways. I even went to admin/define page status and set it to 1 (link on, text on) and still nothing! Any ideas? I'm trying to make the link pop up on my page in the lefthand column..

Have you turned on the More Information sidebox? That is where those links are listed by default :)

If you clone the files, make sure you put something in the default directory so there is something to override ...

If you renamed the text for Page 3 to Links then the file is still referenced as page 3 on the Defined Page Editor where you see the dropdown ...

You should be editing files in your directory:
/includes/languages/english/html_includes/your_template_dir

to edit those copies from your Zen Cart Admin, be sure that the files are set to 777 ... this can be changed later when done ...
