New SSL -- Getting Secure and Nonsecure items error in IE

I had this problem too.

I finally figured it out - so for the benefit of others...


In my stylesheet I had hardcoded a background image to http://domainname/

So i just changed that to ../images and it worked fine.

I too would like to have the non secure error message removed. It does not come up in firefox and never noticed it until viewing the site in IE7. I have gone through and removed all the http:// code through out all the pages. I even looked through the css. However it doesn't seem to have made a difference. If someone could please look through it and let me know what is causing this. Thanks

First, you are missing from your stylesheet these classes:

.hiddenField {
display: none;
}
.visibleField {
display: inline;
}

Next, see if changing the references to:

http://www.macromedia.com

to be:

https://www.macromedia.com

I am having this similar problem with my site https://www.streamaster.com.au/index...ain_page=login only in IE. It comes clean in Firefox, Safari and Chrome. In IE, although it sends a security prompt whether to load unsecured items or not, in both the cases it loads everything. I have checked my page and all items are loaded through SSL.

How do I get rid of this security prompt in IE? Can anyone please take a look and suggest a solution.

I just checked your URL in IE and it is working fine with out any issues. Please confirm if you still having a problem.
