Error after local sales tax module installation

I am setting up a new installation of the latest edition of Zencart, and after I installed the local sales tax module, I am getting this error on the admin/modules/order total page:

It gives me the option to install it though on the admin/modules/order total page--however, it looks like this:
MODULE_ORDER_TOTAL_COUNTY_LOCAL_TAX_TITLE

The same thing happened when I tried to install USA Epay module, but tech support at USA Epay fixed it and I don't know how. My permissions are set to 777 and I checked and the file is there in Includes/Modules/Order totals.

What do these errors mean? and how can I fix them (I am new to all of this and need rudimentary directions please)

It sounds like you copied the files for this tax module to the wrong directory, or maybe didn't upload all of them to your server.

This explains why certain files cannot be found and why you see 'MODULE_ORDER_TOTAL_COUNTY_LOCAL_TAX_TITLE' in place of the correct definition.

Have you re-read the installation instructions?

An update:

Apparently it was a file permission problem, however now I have a bigger problem. I just started using Filezilla as my FTP program, and for some reason it won't let me change file permissions on certain directories such as Includes/Languages/English/Modules. Not only that, it has changed the permissions to 007 so that I can't access them at all and now ALL of my modules for payment, shipping and order total are doing what my epay module and my sales tax module were doing. So, nothing is working and Godaddy says that it's nothing on their end and Filezilla forums (someone had the same problem as me) says that it is probably a server problem.


Please help! Why can't I change the file permissions in Filezilla on certain directories? It lets me type in 777 in the CHMOD but won't save my settings.

Update--I went to the File Manager in Godaddy and changed the permissions, so everything is back up and running again. However, I am still having trouble with the local sales tax mod (I keep getting errors) I am going to search the FAQs for an answer, otherwise I'll have to post again
