    Default php file

    hey i was wondering does anyone know the location for the PHP file which is used for the display listing of products by default i have look and i really can't find it anywhere !

    for example i need to change the div id's for that page but cant find the PHP file for it.

    In your case, it's probably:-

    includes/templates/classic/templates/tpl_product_info_display.php

    IF not, then it's using:-

    includes/templates/template_default/templates/tpl_product_info_display.php

    After you've edited it, however, it must go to:-

    includes/templates/classic/templates/tpl_product_info_display.php

    After editing, it should go to includes/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/templates/tpl_product_info_display.php.

    If you don't use the override system, all your changes will be lost with the next upgrade/update.

    Hi Mary... I checked his paths and it appears he's using the classic template...

    (I assume in using CLASSIC, one is okay for over-rides?)

    No, if he is using the classic template, his changes will be gone after an upgrade/update since the classic template is part of the Zen Cart package. The only way to save the changes is to create a custom template.
