is it possible to remove styles from mainpage only?
i would like to put a flash inside mainpage and it looks bad with top and side padding from css ...

Inside your standard ZC install CSS folder, you will see a file called:
CSS_read_me.txt
This may help you set up a specific stylesheet that configures the Main Page independently from all other rendered pages.
