Converting To Zencart

Hi All,

I currently have a online shop which is powered by EKMpowershop, i would like to move across to a free cart and i have read that zencart is the best free one around,

My question is, how hard would it be for me to make my new zencart shop look the same as my current shop:

I have read around, and from what i have seen it is possible but i have to use overides?

Wouldn't be a walk in the park, but it wouldn't be that hard, either.

All Zencart sites need to use overrides - that's how your template changes are protected from being overwritten when you upgrade to a new Zencart version.

You'd need this mod for your category listings:

You don't 'have' to use the override system, but it would be stupid not to.

Not only will using the system save you time (when upgrading), but it is also much safer than editing core files.

As for styling Zen Cart to look like your existing site, that's possible. :)
