blank pages. Not redirecting.

Had this problem before when editing my site and thought a reload of the entire site would do the trick - but nooooooo...

Here is what's happening:
any action that requires a redirect in the checkout or cart procedure is just giving me a blank page instead of redirecting to the correct page.

i.e. adding a product to the cart, continue checkout button etc

also the "continue shopping" button is taking me back to step 1 of the checkout page.

I can click around to pages like my cart, checkout etc. but the forwarding procedure seems to be stalling onto a blank page.

any help to fix this would be awesome. I am beginner familiar with PHP so any tech talk won't stump me (I hope).

also - another redirect not working is if you try to deleting or update an item in the cart.

I am also having the same issue, I tried using the enable_error_logging script but it never produced anything into the cache folder !The permission for that folder is 777 !

delete the emty lines at the end of english.php

that should solve the redirect issue

Well I replaced the copy of english.php with a backup version at its working...

The only changes I made to this though was change the DOB format !!

yeah it seems the english.php file is touchy and cause errors quite easily. I replaced with a back up file and its fine now.

Hmmm, I wonder if this could be my problem. My site hangs at "confirm your order" please choose your payment".

Which english.php file should I edit?
/public_html/admin/language/english.php
OR /public_html/language/english.php

have you activated any payment modules?

there is not showing any when trying to confirme the order.

try to reactivate the payment modules.
