Custom Stars Rating

Hey Zenners,

I recently made some review stars and made them into a JPG. I added them to includes/templates/custom/images and I edited 2 files, "tpl_product_reviews_default" and "tpl_product_reviews_info_default" to use .jpg instead of .gif but after these two files were uploaded to includes/templates/custom/templates it still didn't work.

Anyone know what I am doing wrong?

What happens when you upload your new .jpg to template_default/images ?

Did you also alter reference to gif in
tpl_reviews_random..might be worth a try.

I tried what you suggested charmedbytine2 but it didn't work.

Misty, thank you so much! I knew a fellow German Shepherd lover would pull through, heh. I was also wondering, for the writing review page, do I just upload files called stars_#_small.jpg and it would be fine or does it require further editing of tpl files?

And if no one minds, take a look at my Other Thread : P heh. It is also related to reviews, but its page layout rather than sidebox. I would greatly appreciate help with it.

your other queries..regret no advice there..
personally do not use reviews option but
hopefully another experienced zencart
forum member, who does, can advise..
