remove gap with red bar under header

hey Im just figuring out Zen cart. things are going prettyy smoothly but i cant figure out how to get rid of this weird gap with a right aligned red bar under the header. Take a look at http://bellinghamscene.com/capslangin/

I would really appreciate any help.

Would imagine due to having some code in tpl_header.php file (found in common folder), if not in there then you will need to find where that code is

		<div id="topLinks">
					</div><br class="clearBoth" />
	</div>

try removing

		<div id="topLinks">
					</div>

i think i´ve got a quite similar prob and tried it out, but it doesn´t work for me. In firefox it looks like i want it to, but ie....
