Using Table pricing on total cost - but want to override this when c.o.d.

Hello!

My store is set up with only one shipping-module, and that is table pricing / total amount of purchase.

But I want to offer C.O.D as payment module, but if my customer choose this option, I want to have a flat price for that.. e.g. NOK 198,-.

Now, I loose money because I have a flat rate for C.O.D (NOK 63,-)
And when they purchase for e.g. NOK 400,-, the shippingrate will be something like NOK 79,-.

So the order total will then be: Shipping: 79(tableprice) + 63(C.O.D) = NOK 142,- But it still costs me NOK 198,- to send the package as C.O.D.

Is there any way I can override the shipping-module if the customer chose to use the C.O.D module, so that the C.O.D adds a flat rate for both shipping and payment of NOK 198,- to the order? (e.g. the flat rate of NOK 69,- doesn't get counted or shown on the order total)


ALSO:
when choosing PayPal IPN, the store doesn't send out order confirmations.. any idea?

Did you look at the COD Fee in the Modules ... Order Totals ... COD Fee ot_cod_fee ... perhaps that would help you as it is already built into Zen Cart ...

Thank you for your answer, unfortunately this doesn't resolve my problem.

using the order total module for cod, I can only set up a fee, working together with the freight.

If this fee would override the freight-cost, the problem would be resolved.

But the way it is now, the cod fee is added to the freight, and since the price for using cod in my country is a standard amount of NOK 198 - this doesn't match the freight cost - since I want to use table-pricing - hence this price varies from customer to customer.
