Locked out of admin?

I'm getting a "bad user name or password" error from my admin... And when I try to resend the stuff to my e-mail address, nothing happens - any suggestions? Otherwise, well, I'm gonna be up all night tonight, because I just paid for a buncha print advertising that is coming out next week...

FWIW, another install on the same server is doing just fine... email account is functional - just tested it with one from another server.

Funny, I only get problems like this when I buy print ads...

Is there a file I can edit to get the new password, or to confirm where the new one gets sent? FWIW, tested the thing last night, and emails concerning cart stuff worked just fine.

Search the Tutorials for 'Admin login' and you should find the article to make changes in you database (using phpMyAdmin) and get you back in.

I can do a reinstall on it without a lot of hassle - Only had about a dozen products loaded.

Are you receiving an error message or is this just "looping" back to the login screen?

Ah... got it fixed... I was screwing up how I was running the query...

Bit of drama as of late between a friend of mine, and the guy who owns the hosting company, and I'm hoping that they're working stuff out, but the paranoia quotient is pretty high...

Actually, it was giving me the "you complete idiot - you entered the wrong name or password" box, and asking if I wanted to resend... which it didn't ... So now I get to check all the email functions...

FWIW, site's not my "sig" site - it's a thing called digitalenlarging.com - it's part of a multisite mod group, but it's what I'm advertising locally... basically just a slightly modded classic template...

Aha! I think I figured out a "feature."

My corp email address (much beloved by my accounting/girlfriend) is way too long... So something was gorching all the e-mails... I thought I tested it last night, but I didn't...

It's working now, after I retargeted everything to an account with a "smaller" address.
