Add text to an additional image

Hi there,

I was wondering if anyone has ever added text to an additional image, so that for example you can mention a detail of what is in the image or similar.

The text would go where the 'larger image' text is, either above or below, not replacing it.

Obviously actual text could be added to the image, but that might be inconsistent with image resizing etc etc.

Thanks for the very rapid response.

I should have been more specific, I meant more one that could be user effected by someone who won't access the code, on a product to product basis.

I know PHP to an "adapt and alter" level but I don't have the time to create a plug-in that will do the job right now, and I was wondering if anyone else had done similar....

The thread you sent over, which I 'm thankful for by the way, would be a site wide change and I need it on an individual product basis.

The more I think about it, it would be pretty tricky to sort this out wouldn't it....?

It would probably need an admin page alteration, but then how do you allow for an unspecifed mount of additional images and so on and so forth. Lots of parameters right?

If you require different text for different images, then example gave earlier is correct...if you wish to change
so text same for every product...that is possible and easier.

I looked at the suggestion and I realise how to change it to have one header etc etc in the template itself, I've been doing similar changes for some time.

I'm just not sure how to use that way of doing it so that the text could be changed by a user who won't look at the templates at all and would only access the control panel and never the PHP files and who has no knowledge of HTML whatsoever.

If I missed the way to do that in that thread then I apologise, I'm being a little slow today....so if you could help me out that way that would be awesome.....

What you seek is NOT possible via zencart admin..
Altering php file/s is currently only way to adjust
additional images text...

Yeah, I thought as much.

If I have a few hours I might see if I can create a module for this.

I don't seem to have a few hours very often though....ha.
