help question PHP API mode = cgi - how do I change this?

    Hello!
When instlling ZC I get the hint "PHP API mode = cgi" at the system check.
    a) to which mode should I switch?
    b) how (where) can I set the PHP API mode?

    My data:
    Apache Web Server 1.3.X (Unix) mod_ssl/2.8.28 OpenSSL/0.9.8f AuthPG/1.3 FrontPage/5.0.2.2635
    PHP O/S: Linux
    PHP version 5.2.5
    MySQL Server version: 4.1.22
    phpMyAdmin - 2.11.5

    Thank you!

    BTW:
I tried searching for "API" but got no results. But here is a Thread wich should be found:

Running php as cgi is good and safe, no need to change.
I no longer provide installation support on forum for all my modules. However, if there are real bugs with the modules please feel free to contact me

Maybe so but why therefore does it say its not reccomended? For the newbies and even those like me who have upgraded before it does somewhat hold you back and worry a bit.

PHP running as cgi not recommended unless server is Windows
Running PHP as CGI can be problematic on some Linux/Unix servers.
Windows servers, however, "always" run PHP as a cgi module, in which case this warning can be ignored
