Need help with customisation

Very new to zen cart heres my site:

im trying to make it as close to this site:

http://www.addict.co.uk/

i need to know how to add pictures in that sort of layout as well as removing the (1) in catergories, changing the colour of the rollover text, i want all my products lined up neatly and with a bigger pictures and need to remove |_ in subcatergory and when you click on a subcat how to remove t-shirts and larger image. Im just trying to get a good pro look without downloading a template i want to learn this stuff. sorry its alot to ask

Many of your questions are answered in the Tutorials/FAQ section. I'd suggest your read that first, then search the forums for terms specific to your questions.

One tip - forget about using frames. Zencart doesn't like them, and neither will most of your visitors.
