    Default Dropshipping

OK, here is the deal (and I am sure many of you out there do this too), I drop ship my products directly from the manufacturer; I am simply a "middle-man". That being said I am still a "newbie" to Zen and I am trying to configure my site, and in the process there of I noticed on the live site it says "0 Units in Stock" under the product.
What I need to do to get rid of this "0 Units in Stock". I want to use Zen as a CMS for my online stores, not as an accounting or inventory information system

    Welcome to ZC!

My general advice to newbies is to treat their first 2 to 3 weeks with their new zenstore, as a training exercise - not to attempt trading the minute it's installed.

(It's very helpful if you have the BOOK, because you can learn in a structured fashion.)

The stock settings can all be configured in the Admin Panel, and can be switched on or off at will. You'll find these (and most other) solutions as you proceed with your "training".

I built a dropship site for a client. You can see it at www.edutrade.co.uk

    Idea or Suggestion Re: Dropshipping

This post is to ask the maintainers of Zen Cart if they'd be interested in code that I am writing. I don't have a store, but am enabling my brother, a drop shipper.

The code is to implement S&H for each product. I'm having to modify core files to do this and don't see how to build it into a module. I also can't visualize writing documentation to enable a non-programmer user to modify his own core files. While I could specify file replacement, if another modification were to be made to one or more files, it could be a mess. This eliminates the possibility of a salable product.

The issue is that I'd document more thoroughly if the Zen Cart team were to want to build my work into the core Zen Cart.

May I have some feedback on this?

Yup, good advice for new a new member like myself.

I am just familiarizing myself with zenstore and I am still
    getting the hang of it.

    Thanks for the advice!
