Setting up cart for Dealers only

I would like to make my cart accessible only to dealers of our product. How can I make it so they can log in, but no one else can make an account? In other words, taking away the sign up sheet, but leaving the email and password section.

admin>configuration>customer details, set Customer Approval Status to 2 (you'll have to approve customers, so anyone who's not one of your dealers can't just create an account)
