Clothing Item + Print = Price?

Hi,

Looking to setup zen cart for a t-shirt store.

I want to charge different prices for different products (t-shirts, hats, etc).

I want customers to customize the product by picking from our list of 5,000 different designs (some designs will be available for hats, some for shirt, some for both). We'd like the customer to browse through images using "categories" of images (e.g., dogs, cats, cars).

The simple part is setting up the t-shirt attributes (color, size). Te tricky part is allowing customers to pick designs.

The really tricky part is upcharging $12.32 for one design vs. $11.23 for another design.

How can we configure the products/pricing to support this?

We could also live with customers picking from our list of designs, and then picking from a list of products to pick from.

E.g., find a german shepherd design you love, and then search for a color/size t-shirt you want to apply it to.

It would work better for you to have the Products setup separately and then the Designs/images ...

Problem is associating them together, for example:

1 T-Shirt Large Purple with German Shepard

1 T-Shirt Small Green with Yellow Rubber Ducky

I order the T-Shirts, then need to tell you which gets the shepard and which gets the Yellow Rubber Ducky ...

You cannot add 5000 attributes to each T-Shirt ...

I am guessing you have a zillion T-Shirt Styles and then the Colors and then the Sizes ...

Could set up seperate categories as hats, tshirts etc
then sub categories within those, for each i.e.
dogs, cats, cars etc..
