If your host lost your DB then you should be really upset at them,
1 there was NO reason that the DB was touched to install SSL
and since the product names descriptions and everyother piece of stored information is in the DB then you have lost it.
on your new site I would suggest adding the backup mod ( its in the DL section ) and back your DB up daily...
also I would look for a new host that dosnt have live backups of your site.
they broke it they should have had the files to fix it.....
