continue shopping button sometimes goes to checkout_confirmation page

Hi zenners!

I have a problem with the continue shopping button. Sometimes when for example Iam in the last step (3) of checkout and I want to edit my cart, the button continue shopping that exists there goes to checkout_confirmation page again in step 3 of checkout and not to main page so the customer be able to shop more.

Please help me, I searched but not found anything about this.
