logo issues

i'm attempting to customize zen-cart v1.3.8a using the override system to employ a custom template. all's good except my logo is not showing up. this is curious because the logo is clearly in: includes/templates/custom/images/logo.gif. likewise, it is being defined by the header.php in: includes/languages/english/custom/header.php. furthermore, the path to the image is plainly visible in the page source code: <div id="logo"><a href="http://192.168.2.6/zen-cart-v1.3.8a-full-fileset-12112007/"><img src="includes/templates/custom/images/logo.gif" ect... i haven't messed around with the style sheet too much so that's not a factor. any thoughts on this? it must be somthing simple i'm overlooking. thanks

as unable to access your site then difficult to pinpoint

is any image showing ?

double check the filename is correct and the image is there

also make sure your logo is a gif and not jpg etc?

i fixed it. the problem was elementary, i didn't have the permissions set on the directory or the file. (store is on linux box, and i didn't have permission to access the logo) ha ha, no wonder i took the short bus to skool.
