Eek. Major problem here.
Last night we got an order through our website. It was paid via credit card, generated an Order Confirmation email and contained the correct order number, 1226.
This morning I got a 'payment received' email from PayPal.

I know that is what it's supposed to say.
PROBLEM:
I don't know what they ordered! This was the only email I received and the order does not show when I log in to the ZC Admin. Under orders processing it says, "2" but clicking over to the 'Orders Listing' page it only shows the one order from last night. Searching by order ID 3 does show an old test order from Sept. 27th but that's it. (Even after the two other test orders I describe below. They don't show up either.)
MY ATTEMPTS AT TROUBLESHOOTING:
- I uninstalled and reinstalled the PayPal IPN payment module.
- I completed a test order using a PayPal e-check for payment. Payment process went smoothly and I ended back at my site and the message...
"Thank You! We Appreciate your Business!
Your Order Number is: 3"
RED FLAG MOMENT: The order number should be 1227, shouldn't it?
- Tried another order, this time paying directly from PayPal account balance (not e-check). Same as before, went smoothly, arrived back at my site with the message...
"Thank You! We Appreciate your Business!
Your Order Number is: 3"
RED FLAG: What? Order number 3 again??
Hmm. Now what?
This is our just launched, updated site. It's a fresh install of v.1.3.8, patched to 1.3.8a.
I hope someone knows how I can fix this. Pronto!
