help question New Installation to replace Old Install

I am wondering if anyone knows if there is anything out here that can walk me through replacing my current install of Zencart with the new install I have?

The thing is, some of the mods I installed would not work with the template I have because it was installed only to that template, and even reinstalling it globally caused some issues, so the company that does my SEO work suggested that I do a new install to replace the old one that was causing me issues with mods and other issues with Google and what-not.

I have the new install ready to go to replace the current one at Knot & Bauble Shoppe but I am not sure how to go about moving the files.

Also, can I change the new config.php file to reflect the current settings in my config.php file to use the same database so that I don't have to reload content and images? I know I can use EP features, but I would just have to reload images, and put everything in its place and I had HOPED that I could just edit the config file instead of doing all of that.

Any help you can provide would be truly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.
