Email confirmation based on payment option

Hi,

I'm wondering if I offered 2 payment options, Cash on Delivery and Cheque, would it be possible to have 2 different templates of the customer confirmation email and only the relevant email sent out based on the payment option?

Is there any documentation on how this can be done?

What would you want to be different?

The cheque email would be something like "please send your cheque to blah blah, your book will be delivered within 3 days upon receipt" while the COD message would be something like "please collect every Mon - Wed from 2pm onwards".

We currently put instructions for all payment types in the same email which has been confusing some customers.
