    Default Attribute Borders and Center

    Hello
Iam trying to Center my attributes above my Add to Cart here is a product with attribute http://www.coolcarpartsonline.com/xt...te-p-1841.html
Iam trying to Center the options just like I did the "Please Select".
Another thing is Iam trying to add a border around the Attributes and add to cart and change the background color so it stands out in the middle of the page.
I tried to play with the CSS but No luck.

    Gl,
    Edit your includes/ templates/ Sami/ css/ stylesheet.css

    1. Add this following declaration to the sheet
    .wrapperAttribsOptions {padding: 0em 0em 0em 15em;}

    2. Play around with the 15 could be 16 or 17. :)

First of all, you've got two css files (stylesheet and product_info) fighting with each other.

You should combine everything into the Sami stylesheet or, at least, get common calls in one or the other.

You are absolutly right. I have looked at that last night and noticed that If I change something in the product info css and refresh the page i get the price color I want then If I refresh again it goes back to the old one.

I will have to spend an hour or two combining the 2 css. Or comment out the product info related comments in the original css.

Ok let me me try to get an answer to this other question.

I want to add a cut-corner frame around the product image, title and price when viewed in all pages like the new product or features pages. But not theproduct info page.

with all respect, I would be working on navigation first.

When you select Chrysler, 2007, 300, Exterior, and View Results >> you get a page full of selections.

Clicking on Grilles, you get a list of vehicle manufacturers. (Chrysler has no image). Clicking on Chrysler says there are no products in this category.

    That's eight clicks to nowhere.

Using the Shop by Categories, and clicking on Exterior takes you to the page to select Grilles which takes you to the page to select Chrysler.

Three clicks to tell me that there are 16 Chrysler grilles -- 15 of them for the 300.

Seems to work the same on all the categories. The shop by car is a nice feature if it works. Don't know if the search engines will find it friendly.

also, bigjoed need to take another look at the My Account Link. not sure you can link a link

You are right on that part but you picked the one Categorie that I have not worked on yet.

Zen-cart seems to be not developer friendly at least the ones I talked to. The Shop by car was changed twice and I need it to be changed one more time.

As I told Ajeh in the private message iam looking for someone that can make Zen cart attribute dependable on each other. Iam trying to add products based on Make and Model along with other options. Iam partner with one big site that will be providing me with XML data feed. Iam trying to resemble their site and get the same function out of a Zen Cart. I have thousands of products to be added and right now everything is on halt till I get someone to do what I want in Zen Cart.

The Shop by Car has only a few items associated with it just to test it. the way it is set-up now will cause trouble associating products to makes and models.

Iam trying hard to get the site to where I want it to be but working with tight budget. And I didn't create the Shop By Car so I don't know how to make it do what I Want.

What is wrong with the My Account????

best of luck on the shop by car. the first to mod up a solution would be finding the holy grail.

As to the myAccount, look at the mainpage source for the myaccount link. There's a link linking to a link

Well for the my account. I added a mod to personalize the my account. If a customer login it will switch the my account to "customer's name" account.

I have a company working on making Zen Cart attribute depend on the previous selection. Now do you know if Zen Cart attributes are search engine friendly????

All the car make model and options will be added as attributes and it will not be good if Google doesn't index attributes.

I fixed the Shop by car for Grille. The way I want to do that will work just fine for the cost of this mod. Iam still new with no sales YET! so I can't afford a $2000 developer to build a perfect mod. I have been told that you can achieve that using some search method, Is there such a thing??? Instead of manually associating product to make and model???

If you look at the page source, you will see that the link for my account is
    <a href="http://www.coolcarpartsonline.com/index.php?main_page=account&amp;zenid=6639b09e2c58692dc446ec2cb4fe6c8a"><a href="https://www.coolcarpartsonline.com/index.php?main_page=login&amp;zenid=6639b09e2c58692dc446ec2cb4fe6c8a">My Account</a></a>
Yo0u cannot start a second link inside a link. It will do screwy things.
It would behoove you to enter your site's url at http://validator.w3.org/ -- 76 errors and nine warnings.
While some are simple, the line 77 is the one I'm talking about.

yeah that is alot of errors, Let me remind you that Iam an Amateur I try things and if it looks the way I want it to I assume I did it right.

How do you recommend that I fix that, I also noticed that the span between the My account link and the New Arrivals is bigger than the rest of the links.

I have been reading about optimizing Zen Cart or anyother Ecommerce website and I noticed that my site requires alot of clicks to get the customer where they want. Iam thinking about making seperate Sideboxes fot the top categories and Display the Sub-categories inside the side box. This will save the customer a step or two to get to the product. I read in the forums about 2 ways to do that one of them is cloning sidebox and the second is styling the categorie sidebox. Which one do you think would work best for me????

What would you recomend for me to do to make it easier on the customers to get where they want on the site? I have been getting more and more traffic (I have the super tracker Installed) but no sales yet although Iam using SSL and authorize.net for secure shopping.

Iam working hard on this site and I do not want to fail.
