    Default Customers getting intermittant errors when trying to checkout

    I made some changes to my store a while back, adding some 3rd party additions like Super Orders, and several others.

    I tested, and got no errors.

    My orders come in waves, and until the last week or so, I had no clue there were any problems.

    The last few days, my customers have been telling me they're getting errors when trying to check out.
    It seems to be related to their credit card processing (via linkpoint), but Im not sure.

    I'll set it to debug, and test it, and cant reproduce the errors.

    I'd say some of my additions havent been quite right, as I have this error in Admin:
    New orders:
    Pat**** B********$448.00 10/09/2008
    Fatal error: Cannot use object of type queryFactoryResult as array in /home/spartan1/public_html/admin/index.php on line 179

    Yet, I dont want to reinstall my store or database, and lose all the changes and/or orders I've received since the backup.


    Any ideas on what to do?

    It would be helpful to know what errors your customers were reporting.
    And what version of Zen Cart you're using
    And what version of PHP your server is running ... and whether it was recently upgraded.

    The error you mentioned from your Admin side suggests that the server has been upgraded to PHP5 but you're running an older version of Zen Cart which doesn't support PHP5.

    The checkout errors basically seem to be that the card is rejected as if either I dont accept that type of card, or the card number was entered incorrectly. But it has been happening too often to be user error.

    Im on Zen Cart 1.3.8a
    Database Patch Level: 1.3.8

    PHP Version 5.2.5

    Im losing orders too.

    I guess I need to go to that backed up version I've got, which sucks. 10 or so hours down the drain.

    I hope the search helps me figure out how to do that.
