Help Several problems

I am in the process of fixing a broken site. I have most of my issues figured out except you cannot "add to cart" without signing in and clicking on "my account" does not prompt you to login.

This could be the STORE STATUS setting in Configuration>>>My Store, or it could be a setting under Configuration>>>Customer Details.

In these areas, you will see different choices for how the store must behave when people visit the site.

Store Status = Normal Store

Customer Shop Status = Not required
