Default Where are my _LRG/_MED images?

    Hi smart people!

I am brand new to all of this. I have a Zen cart designer lined up..and i will be running the site.

I have spent the last few weeks taking photo's. I uploaded the thumbnail images into a category one at a time, 96 by 75 pix.

They look good, as thumbnails...but now i am trying to FTP the _LRG and _MED pics using SmartFTP trail version.

I did this once with my girlfriend and it worked like a dream, now i am at a loss as to how we did it and i've spent hours and hours trying to get it to work.

I still don't even know what the heckers FTP is...but it seemed like i did it....twice successfully, it said it was Transfering to my site.

Once i went into my site and clicked on the thumbnail, to excitedly see the med and lrg pics...it was still just the lil thumbnail.

Am i missing a step? The bigger picture?

I thought i remembered that it just did it once we FTP'd and i refreshed the page.

The file names are the same, except with
    GB-0629 (Thumb)
    GB-0629_LRG (96 BY 500PX)
    GB-0629_MED (96 BY 150PX)

Any wisdom will be greatly appreciated!

Did you put your medium and large images into the "medium" and "large" folders, respectively?

    Thanks so much for responding!

In my raw just started Zen cart page, when i upload images under new product in category, it gives me a browse box that i use to upload my thumbnail. That is the only way i know to upload pics besides just now learning to FTP. I thought that when my girlfriend showed me, Zen Cart just did that part and when i clicked on the thumbnail it showed the page with the medium image, then when i clicked on that it opened a box to the large.

I must be missing a major step! :-0

Thanks....i'm definately still in diapers here! I've read alot but still no clue!

Upon re-reading your question the answer is Yes! I had a _LRG folder and a _MED folder, i used that from my computer to FTP to the site. It showed each item transfering to the site. It's www.kabeladesign.com

Thanks again! Any more advice is extremely welcome!

Ok....so apparently my FTP worked...because i was "playing" around and next to the browse button there was an Upload to _lrg option, so i tried it and it made a fuzzy repeat pic below to the right of the thubnail and when you click on that it shows the bigger image. I am relieved that the files are there but now how to do it properly?

    Thanks so much!

You don't want a *folder* named "_LRG" ... you're supposed to put the large images into the /images/large folder. Similar concept for medium.
